As Hawaii’s only boutique hotel group, it’s important to us that we embrace diversity. That’s why we’re committed to serving the unique needs of the gay and lesbian community, whether that’s helping plan commitment or civil union ceremonies or sponsoring local events such as the Honolulu Gay Pride Festival. Other recent community events we have participated in or sponsored have included: the Honolulu Rainbow Film Festival, Mele Trolley Tour sponsorship to benefit the Food Basket, which provides food pantry to AIDS patients; and Aloha White Party sponsorship, a fundraiser to benefit Food Basket & Gregory House.

Aqua is a proud member of the International Gay and Lesbian Travel Association. All 12 hotels are approved by the Travel Alternative Group (TAG), which recognizes hotels with gay-friendly policies and services.
