About Aqua
Aqua Hotels & Resorts is a full-service hotel management company founded in 2001 by Hawaii hotelier Michael V. Paulin. In 2005, the Aqua Boutique Collection was launched, appealing to the sense of style and attitude of today's traveler. In 2006, the Aqua Lite Line was added to represent the company's transitional and value product. Most recently a growing collection of full-service resorts offering excellent service and classic accommodations in world-class locations were added. Aqua Boutique Resorts are currently available on Maui and Molokai. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Aqua Hotels & Resorts was selected as a ‘Fastest 50' growing Hawaii Company by Pacific Business News and an BBB Accredited business since 2002 with an A+ rating.

Aqua is Hawaii's first employee-owned hotel company and this unique hotel ownership status is unprecedented in the Islands. This significant achievement made it possible for our employees to become co-owners of our growing Waikiki-based hotel company. Of our 15 properties, eight are designed as boutique hotels. Each provides the amenities and ambiance of an upscale hotel recently renovated with personality and offers complimentary high-speed Internet access in guest rooms and throughout the property, spa services, daily Continental breakfast, fitness facilities, and more.
Our five Lite hotels are ideal for the budget-conscious traveler with comfortable accommodations, convenient locations, and affordable pricing. Guests enjoy such amenities as a complimentary in-room safe and a free daily newspaper.
