Travel Agents Earn Rewards and Become Experts On Aqua Hotels

Honolulu, Hawaii- November 12, 2012- Aqua Hotels & Resorts has launched a new Lifestyle Specialist program that helps travel agents learn more about its collection of hotels and rewards agents for their loyalty. Through the program, travel agents also can participate in special promotions based on productivity, as well as take advantage of special familiarization (fam) rates when visiting the islands.

“As an Aqua Lifestyle Specialist, travel agents are better equipped to help their clients choose a property that is right for them,” said Robin Harlow, senior director of sales for Aqua. “The result is more satisfied travelers, which ultimately results in more referrals and repeat business for both the travel agent and Aqua. It’s a win-win for everyone.”

Aqua’s Lifestyle Specialist program is open to all travel agents and enrollment is complimentary. Participating travel agents visit Aqua’s website to learn about each hotel, as well as insider’s tips to visiting Hawaii. Through the program, travel agents are rewarded with one complimentary room night for every 25 materialized room nights booked at a single hotel. (Complimentary night is awarded at the hotel with materialized bookings.)

Materialized bookings can be accumulated from year to year with no expiration date. Only bookings made through bona fide travel agents apply. Bookings can be made direct though Aqua’s website, GDS (Chain Code: QU), through Aqua’s central reservations, direct to a hotel or through an Aqua contracted Hawaii tour operator or wholesaler.

Travel Agent Fam Rates
Aqua Hotels & Resorts encourage travel agents to experience its Aqua properties with special “fam trip” rates through December 23, 2013. Fam rates are available at 19 participating properties on Oahu, Maui, Kauai and Molokai. Travel agents must have an IATA designation and an IATA, TRUE, IRC or CLIA card must be presented at check-in. Fam rates may be booked for a maximum of three nights. Additional nights are available at 16% off Best Available Rate. Travel agent must occupy booked room. Travel agents are also encouraged to schedule a site inspection with the hotel ahead of time.
