About Aqua
When our visionary founder, Michael Paulin, opened Aqua Hotels & Resorts in 2001, he also introduced Hawaii’s first and only boutique hotel chain. With 12 properties in the Aqua family, our popularity among savvy and adventurous travelers continues to foster the rebirth of Waikiki as a place of unmatched rejuvenation and impeccable service.
7 Pillars of the Aqua Brand
Our passion is to provide experiential-based travel desired by our customers. Aqua properties are designed to combine the comfort of condominium accommodations with the accoutrements of luxury hotels -- all tailored to our guests’ needs. Behind our vision are the 7 Pillars of the Aqua Brand, which serve to differentiate Aqua from other hotels.
Each of our Aqua properties has a combination of these standards in place, with the Aqua Palms & Spa having all seven:
- AquaSPA - Spa facilities offering massage therapies, body scrubs and facials
- AquaFIT - Access to fitness centers with a variety of exercise equipment
- AquaFRESH - Renovated accommodations
- AquaKIT - Kitchen amenities such as microwaves, refrigerators and/or coffee makers
- AquaCONNECT - Complimentary in-room hi-speed Internet Access and/or WiFi
- AquaSTART - Complimentary daily Continental breakfast
- AquaPROMISE - 24x7 Hotline to Aqua Owner Mike Paulin
