Waikiki Trolley
One of the best ways to get around in Waikiki, the Trolley not only provides access to and from many of the great attractions in Honolulu, but also tours that focus on scenic wonders, historic tours, shopping highlights, and the related E Noa Tours that provide transportation from Waikiki to popular destinations including Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center.
The historic tour makes stops at the State Capitol/Iolani Palace, the Aloha Tower Marketplace, and Chinatown. Scenic tours include stops at the Honolulu Zoo, Waikiki Aquarium, the Diamond Head hike trail access, as well as several other convenient stops. The shopping tour line includes stops at the Ala Moana Center, the Royal Hawaiian Center, and several other stops. For a full list of all scheduled stops on the different trolley routes, pick up a handy map guide, which are available in the trolleys.
There are many who consider the Waikiki Trolley expensive, with a seven-day pass costing $7 per day, but it beats cab prices and car rentals. Depending on the length of your stay it might be a good way to get around town.
