Kilohana Plantation
A marvelous sugar plantation just outside Lihue, the Kilohana Plantation offers visitors the opportunity to tour the grounds of the working plantation and its accompanying estate, a working farm and small gauge train depot and a marvelous train ride, culminating in a rum tasting room and company store. Kilohana Plantation also offers a luau with authentic Hawaiian food and a theatrical luau presentation celebrating the culture and history of Hawaiian culture.

Built in 1936 by the Kilohana Plantation owner and sugar magnate Gaylord Wilcox, the mansion extends over 16,000 square feet centered in the courtyard on the plantation grounds is open for visitors to explore and enjoy. Visitors will also enjoy the rum tasting room, where rum and rum products are sold. The tasting room is opened after 10:30am daily.

Kilohana Plantation is also home to the 22 Degree North restaurant, a farm-to-table operation that is open for lunch from 11am-2:30pm and again for dinner from 5:30-9pm. The bar area is open for drinks and appetizers from 11am-9pm.
