USS Oklahoma Memorial
Grouped with the USS Bowfin, USS Arizona, and the Pacific Aviation Museum, the USS Oklahoma Memorial is a tribute to the 429 Marines and Sailors who lost their lives onboard the USS Oklahoma during the attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941. Opening on the anniversary of the bombing in 2007, the Memorial combines a black granite wall that evokes the strength and power of the USS Oklahoma, contrasted starkly by the white marble standards that represent the fallen U.S. Servicemen.

The Memorial itself is free, but requires the purchase of shuttle tickets that can also be used to visit the Battleship Missouri Memorial Museum and the Pacific Aviation Museum, all located on Ford Island. There are often also survivors from the attack on Pearl Harbor present who will talk about the experience. Please remember at all times to be respectful and courteous, as this is a memorial and graveyard with great meaning to many people.

Extra Tips
As a precaution for safety, any bags that provide any kind of concealment are forbidden at the Pearl Harbor memorials and museums. Nearby lockers are available to store your belongings by the USS Bowfin Museum. Use of the lockers costs $3.
