    The grounds are located at an elevated position so you are off the beach....but this is good. ... More
    WAY better views, less mosquitos, less wind, warmer at night. The grounds are immaculately maintained. There is a sense of grandness about the place that the four seasons and the grand are missing.

    YOU FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE THE ENTIRE PLACE TO YOURSELF!! The only time you ever know that many other people are staying there is in the morning at the coffee, fruit, and pastry bar.

    The service is superior to anywhere else on the island. the valet guys are local and super nice. will answer any questions you have and give honest recommendations. the housekeeping does an amazing job because they dont have a thousand rooms to clean.

    The rooms are huge! They are 2-story four room units well divided. You dont feel like you are living back at your freshman dorm like everywhere else.
    The beds are soft and the linens comforter are new and fresh...not the 20 year old junk that everyone else has.

    When you do want to head down to the beach, they have a private section of the Grand's beach. They even have your account with the Grand so you can have lunch or order cocktails there and not worry about having to bring any money to the beach.

    This is a true travelers retreat, not a beachfront daycare. Close

    iked the fact that it was more like having one's own condo on Maui, with a great pool, spa, restaurant, and groomed grounds on site. Really enjoyed the lack of children and families, a great place for couples!
    We had a panoramic ocean view, and the sunsets were great as was waking in the morning to the view of Maui. We visited the West highway, Lahaina, west beaches, Makena, and the volcano all from this home site. Only left to spend the night in Hana at another Hotel, and our last night at Mama's Fish House (another wow!) for a perfect week on the island! Mahalo! Close

    m was on the second floor with a beautiful panoramic view of the ocean. It was a large, apartment-style room, which we appreciated very much. We took advantage of the sister property (Grand Wailea) nearly every day of our stay. We always had chairs and an umbrella right on the water. We looked forward to the breakfast buffet every morning (with fresh guava juice). All hotel staff were pleasant and helped us book activities when we needed. We would absolutely stay here again, and hope to soon. It was a very peaceful and beautiful place to stay. Close

    have to do some walking to make your way around the resort. Not an issue for either of us, but it may hinder others. Close
